OptiProject Pro is an Android app made by SK Software and Technologies for construction contractors and for any business that runs on projects or job work. Your business data stays on your phone, and the app works fully offline.
What it does
- Budgets that talk back: set a budget for a project or for each task, revise it with a full history, see spent, committed and remaining, and get a warning before you overspend.
- Costs in seconds: labour, material, machinery and other costs, with photos of bills.
- Quotes and customers: make an estimate cum quote with your terms and conditions and a validity date, agree milestones, and raise customer invoices from them, with receipts, balances and ageing.
- Suppliers: purchase invoices with part payments, balances and ageing.
- Subcontracts: contracts, change orders, payment requests, and money committed before you pay.
- Labour: time cards with regular and overtime rates that flow into project cost.
- Stock: warehouses, opening stock from Excel, purchases, issue to projects, returns and adjustments.
- Issues and risks: log the issues and risks of each project with an owner and a due date, see what is overdue, and keep your key members and their roles in one place.
- Project ledger and reports: every money event of a project in date order, with PDF and spreadsheet reports, a Find box that jumps to any record, and an Excel export of all your data.
- Easy to start: try the built-in sample company, then set up your own: a new company starts with sensible settings, so you can begin at once.
- Safe by design: PIN or fingerprint lock, and password-protected encrypted backups. Before you restore a backup, compare it with the data on your phone.
Backup to your own Google Drive (optional)
OptiProject Pro can save an encrypted backup straight to the Google Drive of the person using the app, by a button or on a schedule. The app can see only the backup files it created itself, in a folder called “OptiProject Pro Backups” (backups made by older versions are in a folder called “OptiBuild Backups”), never the rest of your Drive. The backup is locked with a password only you know. Read the privacy policy for details.
